Graph
This graph shows the difference in mean reading scores for the 3rd graders at Hornung Elementary School in Brighton Michigan. The gap is not large but there is still a noticeable difference between the mean scores of boys test scores and the mean score of girls test scores.
Survey Data
The survey I took was to how often children play education games on electronic devices. What I found was that 31% of the kids do play education games. This tells me that parents are taking advantage of the resources they have at home to help educate their children. On the other end of the scale are the children that never play educational games or 18% of this poll. If this were actually my classroom I would investigate why these children do not play educational games and encourage their parents to have them play these games.

Spreadsheets, Surveys, and Polls
In my future classroom I will be using spreadsheets, surveys, and polls in multiple different ways. First I will use surveys to ask my students how I am doing teaching them. This will allow my students to have a voice in their learning, and tell me what is working for them and what is not. The next way I will use surveys is to ask parents how effective different assignments are so that I can change them for the following year. I will also use spreadsheets in my classroom to help students see their progress in certain subjects. For example I will graph their progress in their reading levels and math scores so they can see there improvement visually. Also it will help me be aware of students progress, and understand what certain students need help with. I believe spreadsheets, polls, and surveys will be a very helpful resource for me in my future classroom.
