Classroom Puzzle Presentation created on Google Presentations

I created a presentation using Google Presentations. I created a presentation that I would use on the first or second day of class. In this presentation I gave my students an assignment to create a puzzle piece for our classroom puzzle. This puzzle piece would be a way for me to get to know my students. Then in the presentation I gave my students a little bit of background information on me to spark their ideas. If I were actually using this presentation I would have created my own puzzle piece to give them ideas. The SAMR level I address is substitution. Instead of using a simple worksheet that asks my students questions about who they are, I am asking them to do a fun task where everyone in the class gets to know each other better. This will immediately create a better community in my classroom. The “best practice” it fits is setting objectives and providing feedback because this will be the first assignment my student’s will receive my feed back on.
Rubric
This is the rubric that would go along with my students puzzle piece.
1. Creativity: 10
2. On time: 10
3. Details: 10
4. Presentation: 20
Total: 50 Pts
