The article I read was called Technology CCSS in ELA, which I read in Crafting the Common Core. This article provided different websites that could help students learn English that aligned properly with the standards of the Common Core. For my future classroom I learned about a search engine called Sweet Search. This website has already selected the best articles for students. Also students can type in “for kids” at the end of every search and the best/ safest articles for children will pop up. I really liked this resource because it is a safer search engine for kids than google or bing.

The video I viewed was called “Reviewing Content the SMART Way”. This was a video that gave teachers ideas on resources, to help their students learn, using a smart board. The idea provided defiantly got me excited to use a smart board someday! You can get your kids involved by playing games such as Jeopardy or Whack a mole. In these games you ask your students review questions and then allow them to be involved by whacking moles on the board or answering a double jeopardy question! Watching this video showed me all the different things you could do with a smart board that I never knew existed. I also learned where to find resources such as Smart Exchange.
